So if you like Fallout 3 and New Vegas and you want to replay them without going nuts or risking eye-cancer, this blog is probably for you. Now the game looks fantastic and I didnвЂ™t had one single crash in days - however, IвЂ™m not completely satisfied with the results (more on that in later posts). So far I spent two weekends working on this and it really paid off. To speed things up IвЂ™ll publish a list with recommended mods.

Thousands of people worked millions of hours (roughly estimated) to patch all the issues and made the game more enjoyable. Luckily the modding community helped me out with a bunch of solutions. And then I remembered the countless crashes and in-game bugs that drove me mad over and over again. Also the clumsy game mechanics and the character and weapon animation are inconceivably bad. The low res textures reminded me of 1990s games and the color scheme and weather make it look like it takes place on mars. By the end of January 2017 I heard rumours about вЂњFallout New Vegas 2вЂќ which seem to be wrong, but after years of playing other games I was up for another round of FNV. The game looks really good, gameplay is improved and it even runs stable and smooth on my old gtx970. It took about 4 months but it was worth the work.
